Understanding Bar Code and Verifier Technology
Bar codes have a specific standard for printing. Each bar code such as a UPC or an interleaved 2 of 5 âcase codeâ has a specified tolerance on the printing widths of the individual bars and spacing in between the bars. Bar code verifiers were designed to measure the pass fail characteristics of the barcode and determine if the barcode is up to spec.
The difficulty with traditional verifier technology is that the scanning experience known by the end user does not necessarily correlate with the results of the verifier. For some reason, many of the bar codes that failed inspection, many of them were actually very easily read by the simple grocery store scanners. But on the other side of the coin, some bar codes that passed inspection were unable to be read by the same scanner. The difficulty came out of the barcode verification method not being commensurate with the way that real bar code scanners work.
Traditional verification is based on the comparison of printed bar widths to the published tolerance levels. If the bar code is within these levels, it passes inspection. Because of the electronic means to determine if the bar code was within acceptable levels, the tighter than necessary control threw out many passable bar codes. The verification methods simply look at the width of the bars and the spacing in between. Defects within the printed code will still pass inspection.
ANSI bar code verifier conformation has established a standard for bar code reading. The new standard is such that the bar code print quality is measured in accordance to the actual function of bar code scanners. Verifiers coming with the ANSI standard are relied upon by suppliers and customers. This ensures a standard across all levels and no confusion is present in the bar code scanners. This allows allow people on both the manufacturing and receiving end to expedite and process orders and shipments much faster. The ANSI standard in bar code verification also makes sure that there are no defects in the bar code that the traditional verification methods could have missed.
The quality guideline for barcode scanners was published in 1990 and established a procedure for measuring bar code quality. The methodology established eight separate codes for bar code scanning. The output of the ANSI method produces a number and letter grade for the bar code scanner and determines the quality of the bar code. A letter grade of âCâ or better should scan on any machine and be readable without any kind of hitch. Some manufacturers request a bar code standard of at least a âBâ or better with the printing of each bar code. This puts a strain on the manufacturer of the barcode, but with the modern bar code verification techniques, the bar code is guaranteed to be readable by any scanner and business can progress. The old style of bar code verification would not permit such leniency in bar codes and would either fail the majority of good bar codes or pass bar codes which are useable.

So basically over the past week I’ve been figuring out how to get C++ running on the wii by inserting .bin files into the memory using Gecko OS, WiiRD, and a USB Gecko. This is pretty much the result. This IS NOT AN ISO HACK. Either way no releases coming unless you have a USB Gecko, in which case you probably talk to me and already have this code/hack 
If it were to be made a code it would be over 300 lines and gecko OS could not run it… Sorry. All of the C++ codes were created by me. Most of which were based off of ideas from some JTAG codes. The problem is, the coding is a little bit different on MWR, but it’s pretty easy to get used to. The term “American football” refers to a type of game, not a regional sport. American football is enjoyed world-wide. Professional American-style football leagues exist in Canada, Europe, South America and Japan. NFL Europa is a organization operated by the US based National Football League. NFL Europa has teams in six German and Dutch cities. In Canada, there are 2 organizations, the Canadian Footbal Leage, a professional league, and Canadian University Spot, which is a network of nonprofessional University level teams.
Both Canadian leagues play American style football but with some variations known as Canadian Rules. New Zealand, Mexico, Japan and several other countries have amateur football leagues. American style football is governed by the International Federation Of American Football (IFAF), which has over 45 affliates in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australasia. However, the true moving force in american footbal is the NFL, or National Football Association.
The NFL is the regulatory and organizational arm of football in the US. It makes and enforces rules for sportsmanship and drug use. When a player behaves overly aggressively during a game, misses practice sessions or becomes involved in extracurricular illegal activity, the NFL will impose a fine and/or suspend a player. The NFL bans recreational and steroid, or performance enhancing, drug use. It authorizes and conducts urine testing on its professional atheles.
The NFL also decides yearly whether the rules of the game should be changed, and in what ways. Often the rules are done to make the game more interesting or more fair. Safety is another motivation behind rule change and the NFL tries to make this aggressive and even violent game as safe as possible by modifying the existing rules and the forms of protective equipment used. However, merchandising is also a factor and the NFL has advocated rule changes, such as a sponsor time out which is a pause in the play of the game, that are solely for the purpose of allowing the sponsor to show commercials.
The NFL decides which cities can have a team and how many teams will make up the two franchises, The Amercan Football League and the National Football League, which originally was the only and prototypic league in American football. Fans have intese loyalties to these two franchises, which is capitalized upon in the yearly Superbowl. This game was established to play upon this rivalry and pits the AFL and NFL Champions against each other. This is held in February and is the single most watched event on American television. It is an event that begins weeks in advance with football interveiws, panels of sports figures who speculate on the game’s outcome, and bettiing oportunities. This hype grows over the weeks of playoff games and builds to a near frenzy by the time Superbowl Sunday arrives.
The game is an all day event with ceremonies and a legendary half time, Las Vegas style, show that features top celebrities. For the multitudes watching at home, the Super Bowl is also augmented by the premeire screening of a collection of the most innovative and often humorous advertising blips. Because of the exposure and the terrific numbers of viewers, the competition to be one of the favored advertisers is nearly as hearty as the team competition to play in this game.
American Football is sweeping the rest of the world and becoming a popular phenomenon in nearly every country. This growth in popularity is slower in countries that have established rugby or soccer francishes but American Football is rapidly becoming as popular as American fast food.
